Finnmehl Ltd (est. 1990) is the only company in the Nordic countries that produces filler material out of sawdust for making glue and resin. The raw material used is pure Finnish pine sawdust. Our company has FSC® chain of custody certification and the legitimacy of the raw material as well as the acceptability and sustainability of the whole supply chain have been ensured.

At the production plant in Kaustinen the sawdust is dried and then ground into desired fineness. The sieving system makes sure that the end product is consistent and of high quality. The production is automated to a great extent.

There is extensive research on the use of wood powder in replacing plastic these days. It can be used in many kinds of composite products, which offers a wide variety of possibilities for further processing of the product.
